“Sometimes” will be in the Mix It Up group show at Ashton Art Gallery, opening tonight, Saturday, March 28th, from 4 to 7 pm.
I don’t always know what a piece is about while I’m making it. “Sometimes” is part of the “So Much Nothing” series, which means it started without a plan and got made anyway. I added until something felt real, and then I stopped. Or I stopped before I should have. I’m still not sure.
What I know is that it’s worth seeing in person. The surface doesn’t translate. Come if you can.
